You do not like your nails, because they are damaged and poorly maintained, know that it is not irremediable. Here are some tips to remedy it and find resplendent, healthy, and shiny nails.
Pay attention to your diet
Our body is often a reflection of what we eat. A healthy and balanced diet is the basis of physical fitness. What we eat plays on many aspects of our body such as hair, skin and nails. It is therefore strongly advised to pay attention to what we eat to optimize our chances of staying healthy.
Regarding nails, you should know that they are largely made of keratin fibers. Vitamin B, calcium and mineral salts (iron, magnesium and zinc) contribute to the good health of your nails. Your diet should therefore include cereals, fish, dairy products.
Polish and file your nails
To get soft and shiny nails, there is no secret, they must be maintained. As a first step, we advise you to regularly polish them with a brush. This will make it possible to avoid duplication and that they do not flake. This polishing can be done by adding a thin layer of oil.
Maintenance also involves the image. You can first soak your nails in warm water to soften them and thus better prepare them. We advise you to prefer the file rather than scissors or nail clipper. Indeed, it will make it possible not to damage your nails especially if they are brittle. Similarly, it is better to use a cardboard file rather than a metal model. For the image to be successful, you have to start with one of the sides and go to the center without ever changing direction. Remember to round the edges. Never gnaw your nails, it is a very bad habit that damages not only your nails, but also your teeth.
Maintenance products and solutions
There is a wide range of products to maintain your nails. However, we advise you to favor natural solutions rather than chemicals. To make your nails stronger, it is advisable to apply hardening varnish. But do not do it too often otherwise they will become brittle. In terms of solvents, opt for acetone-free solutions so as not to dry out. If you have brittle nails, you can treat them by immersing them in warm salt water. To whiten and strengthen them, lemon juice is an excellent remedy, while immersion in olive oil several times a month will improve the protection of your nails. Gelatin capsules also exist to strengthen the nails.
We recommend that you use the adequate manicure and pedicure set to take care of your nails before applying any kind of decoration.
